Broomfield: Phish, Fourmile Revival Have Police on Their Toes [Broomfield Enterprise]

Broomfield public safety officials are looking at strategies and staffing levels that will suitably fit the needs of the Fourmile Canyon Revival benefit concert and three nights with jam band Phish without infringing on the fun at what is sure to be the 1stBank Center’s biggest week ever.

“Four days in a row of concerts is a little different than we are used to having,” Broomfield Police Chief Tom Deland said. “Our main goal is to make sure we have a safe event, where people feel they can go and enjoy the concert without having any crime or disorder and so the people who live or do business around the event center can do that without being disrupted.”
