Essex Junction: Essex Prepares for Phish Concert Traffic [Burlington Free-Press]
Chittenden County law enforcement officials said Monday they are taking steps to try to ensure traffic safety and minimal disruption on Wednesday in response to the Phish benefit concert for victims of Tropical Storm Irene.
Acting Essex Police Chief Brad LaRose said he is expecting a large but peaceful crowd for the concert from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Champlain Valley Exposition on Pearl Street.
