Flood Benefit: Funds Not Available Following Benefit Concerts [WCAX]

Two of Vermont’s biggest acts raised more than $1.5 million for flood relief by playing benefit concerts this Fall. But, the bulk of those funds have not made it downstream to those in need.

Twelve thousand fans attended Phish’s benefit concert following tropical storm Irene, raising about $1.3 million for flood relief. Only about 3-percent of that has reached victims.
