I haven’t seen Phish live since 1999 but have missed the experience. Ten years older now I felt like a kid in a candy store at Star Lake. It was just one of those nights where everything just fell into place perfectly. I was in the perfect state of mind and they played every song I was hoping to hear, the kind of show where it feels like they are playing to you personally. Two days later and I’m still sore from dancing my ass off. I went with my new girlfriend who has never seen Phish let alone been to a concert ever. She kept up and expanded her mind to get the full experience. She hung in there all night picking me up when I was lost and made me realize she’s a definate keeper. Starting with their opening through “Loving Cup” I felt 10 years younger and back to a time of innocense and endless possibilities. It was one of the funnest concerts I’ve ever been to. It was a perfect show for me.
