Watkins Glen: Fans Stream Into The Glen [Corning Leader]

Richard Glasgow, Phish’s tour manager, said the idea of playing at Schuyler County’s famous racetrack has been brewing for a long time.
“Watkins Glen, we talked about this as far back as 10 or 15 years ago,” Glasgow said.

Active negotiations for The Glen to host its first major concert since 1973’s historic Summer Jam – which drew 600,000 fans for shows by The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and The Band – had been taking place for the past two years.
